Riley McCann is a placekicker from Gillette, NJ, who attended Watchung Hills High School. At Watchung Hills, McCann was named First Team All-State and First Team All-New Jersey by USA Today as a senior in 2022, when he went 12-of-16 on field goal attempts and was perfect 32-of-32 on extra points. McCann made his collegiate debut as holder versus UCLA on October 19, 2024, and appeared in all 12 games during the 2025 season. He has earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in both 2024 and 2025. McCann helped Rutgers connect on 13 field goals and 37 extra points in 2025, including holding for the tying and winning field goal at Purdue on October 25. He is a senior at Rutgers, majoring in Aerospace Engineering.
