Dantae Chin is a left guard for Rutgers from Weston, FL, who played his final high school season at Cypress Bay after beginning his football career late. He redshirted in 2022 before making his collegiate debut against Temple in 2023. In 2024, Chin appeared in all 13 games with four starts at left guard. The offensive line he anchored helped the Scarlet Knights post 28.9 points per game, their best since 2008, and 4,975 total yards, fourth-most in program history. The unit permitted two or fewer sacks in 9 of 13 contests. Chin earned his first career start at Maryland (11/16), where the offense totaled 370 yards with no sacks allowed. In 2025, he started twice at left tackle, including against Ohio (8/28) and Miami (Ohio) (9/6).
