Ben Rothhaar is a tight end for Rutgers standing 6'3" and weighing 235 pounds. The Norwalk, Ohio native was coached by Keith Mora in high school, where he played tight end, wide receiver, linebacker and defensive back while earning 14 varsity letters across football, baseball, basketball and track and field. During his junior season, Rothhaar recorded 32 receptions for 451 yards and three touchdowns, along with 73.5 tackles and an interception on defense. He was a second team all-division selection by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Media Association and a first team All-SBC Lake Division selection. As a freshman in 2025, Rothhaar made his collegiate debut against Norfolk State on September 13 and appeared in six games for the Scarlet Knights.
