Owen Carter is a 6'2", 215-pound wide receiver from Cypress, TX, where he played for Cy-Fair High School under coach Jeff Miller. A three-star recruit in the 2024 class, Carter was a two-time All-District 17-6A selection and earned third-team All-State honors. He finished his high school career with 151 receptions for 2,765 yards and 31 touchdowns while serving as team captain and earning Academic All-State recognition. At Rice, Carter made his collegiate debut against Navy in 2024 and appeared in three games while preserving his redshirt, including nine offensive snaps at UAB. He did not see action in 2025 due to injury but earned American Conference All-Academic honors.
