Justin Michaelis is a left tackle for the Rice Owls standing 6'4" and weighing 321 pounds. The Park City, Utah native lettered as a three-year starter at Park City High School, earning Region 10 Offensive Line MVP honors as a senior. His football introduction came during high school; he also lettered in baseball. In 2025, his first season at Rice, Michaelis appeared in four regular-season games plus the Armed Forces Bowl while retaining his redshirt status. He logged 61 total snaps, including a high of 19 against North Texas, with his debut coming against Memphis on Halloween.
