Cooper King is a 5'10", 211-pound weakside linebacker from Houston, TX who attended Stratford High School. A redshirt junior, King earned American Conference All-Academic honors in 2024 and 2025. In 2025, he appeared in all 13 games on special teams and three games on defense, recording eight tackles and one shared sack across contests against Prairie View, UTSA, Texas State, and the Armed Forces Bowl. He posted three tackles in each of his performances against Prairie View and UTSA. King saw defensive action in six games during 2024, his first collegiate season, recording two tackles on 12 snaps against Texas Southern.
