Ahran Ogbor is a safety for the Rice Owls. The Spring, Texas native played multiple positions in high school, earning All-District 14-6A honors as both a quarterback and all-purpose back in his senior season under coach Antonio Singleton, as well as All-District recognition at QB as a junior. In 2025, his true freshman year, Ogbor appeared in 11 games, recording 47 plays on special teams and 45 on defense. He made his debut against Prairie View with seven special teams snaps and 23 defensive snaps, adding a pass breakup in that contest.
