Winston Berglund is a redshirt junior linebacker for Purdue who hails from Carmel, Indiana. A three-star recruit ranked No. 60 nationally at safety by recruiting services, he did not play as a freshman in 2023. During the 2024 season, Berglund appeared in three games before a season-ending injury at Wisconsin on October 5, recording nine tackles, 2.0 tackles-for-loss, and 1.0 sacks in limited action. He earned Academic All-Big Ten honors that year. In 2025, his sophomore campaign, Berglund appeared in 11 games and recorded six total tackles, including three against USC on September 13. He was named Academic All-Big Ten again in 2024.
