Winston Berglund is a redshirt junior linebacker for Purdue who hails from Carmel, Indiana. A three-star recruit ranked No. 60 nationally at safety by recruiting services, he did not play as a freshman in 2023. During the 2024 season, Berglund appeared in three games before a season-ending injury at Wisconsin on October 5, recording nine tackles, 2.0 tackles-for-loss, and 1.0 sacks in limited action. He earned Academic All-Big Ten honors that year. In 2025, his sophomore campaign, Berglund appeared in 11 games and recorded six total tackles, including three against USC on September 13.
