Luke Klare is a long snapper from Guilford, IN who attended St. Xavier in Ohio. The 6'6", 235-pound redshirt sophomore is majoring in Economics at Purdue. Klare has not appeared in games during his first two seasons with the Boilermakers. He earned Academic All-Big Ten recognition in 2024 and plays alongside his older brother Max Klare, a tight end on the roster. Multiple family members have played college football, including his father, grandfather, and uncles.
