Justin Denson Jr. is a 6'2", 200-pound free safety from Providence, RI, who transfers to Purdue as a redshirt sophomore. He began his college career at Michigan State, appearing in eight games as a freshman and recording 13 tackles across 200 snaps on defense and special teams, including four tackles against Oregon in his debut versus Prairie View A&M. During his redshirt sophomore season in 2025, he appeared in three games and totaled two tackles before the redshirt was applied. In high school, Denson played at Wyoming Seminary School and La Salle Academy, earning first-team all-state honors as a junior and finishing his senior year with 45 tackles, five interceptions, and nine passes defended.
