CJ Madden is a 6'4", 270-pound defensive end from Ellenwood, GA who transferred to Purdue from Georgia. A four-star recruit in the 2022 class, he made his collegiate debut at Georgia in 2022 and appeared in seven games as a redshirt freshman in 2023. After playing in the first three games of the 2024 season before suffering an injury, Madden returned in 2025 as a junior, appearing in all 12 games with eight starts. He recorded 16 tackles, 2.5 tackles-for-loss, and 0.5 sacks during the 2025 season, including a season-high four tackles and a full TFL against Illinois on October 4.
