Ryan Baer is a right tackle for the Pittsburgh Panthers who enrolled in January 2022 following early graduation from North High School in Eastlake, Ohio. As a high school senior, he recorded 78 knockdowns with a 91% blocking grade and was named first-team All-Ohio Division II. He redshirted in 2022 after appearing in three games. In 2023, Baer played in 11 games with nine starts at offensive tackle, including eight at right tackle and one at left tackle against Notre Dame. During the 2024 season, he started all 13 contests, beginning at right tackle before moving to left tackle for the final five games, and earned analytics services ACC Team of the Week recognition for his performance versus Syracuse. In 2025, Baer started all 13 games at right tackle and was selected Honorable Mention All-ACC.
