Raion Strader is a right cornerback for the Pittsburgh Panthers, standing 6'0" and weighing 180 pounds. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he attended Penn Hills High School where he lettered in football and wrestling while serving as a two-time team captain. Strader began his college career at Miami (OH) from 2023 to 2024, starting in 24 of 25 games and recording 110 tackles, 32 pass breakups, and three interceptions. He earned FWAA All-America honors and was named the 2024 MAC Cornerback of the Year by College Football News. In 2025, he transferred to Auburn, where he appeared in all 12 games and logged nine tackles with three pass breakups. Strader ranked third among active FBS players with 37 career passes defended before enrolling at Pittsburgh in January 2026.
