Kentrail McRae Jr. is a 6'2", 165-pound true freshman defensive back for Pittsburgh from Clearwater, Florida. He enrolled at Pitt in January 2026 following early graduation from Clearwater High School. As a senior, McRae recorded 14 solo tackles, nine pass breakups, and five interceptions, including one in each of his final three games. During his 2024 junior season, he totaled 44 tackles, eight pass breakups, and two interceptions. McRae is the son of Kentrail McRae and Tiffany Yeldon and has two sisters.
