Jimmy Scott, a 6'3", 260-pound defensive end from Buffalo, NY, joined Pittsburgh as a three-star recruit in 2022 and redshirted that season. He appeared in 11 games as a reserve in 2023, recording eight tackles and one tackle for loss. Scott started all 13 games in 2024, compiling 30 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, and six sacks while earning ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors for his performance against California. In 2025, he started 12 of 13 games and led Pitt's defensive line with 4.5 sacks while adding 8.0 tackles for loss, 18 tackles, one fumble recovery, and one forced fumble.
