Carter Genchi is a kicker and punter for the Pittsburgh Panthers. The Powder Springs, Georgia native walked on to Pitt in June 2026 after graduating from Hillgrove High School. At Hillgrove, Genchi converted 51-of-55 PATs and 10-of-13 field goals as a senior, with a long of 53 yards. Across his high school career, he made 85-of-93 PATs and 20-of-27 field goal attempts while recording 115 touchbacks on 125 kickoffs. As a punter, he averaged 35.2 yards on 69 career punts with a long of 59 yards and earned first-team All-Region honors at both positions. Genchi, a business major, stands 5'10" and weighs 160 pounds.
