Tyrell Chatman is a true freshman left cornerback at Penn State standing 6'2" and weighing 196 pounds. A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, Chatman attended North Star High School, where he helped the program reach three consecutive playoff appearances. Over his high school career, he recorded 37 tackles and four interceptions as a junior, then posted 30 tackles with 14 pass breakups in his senior season. Chatman earned 2025 Omaha World-Herald Super Six honors and was rated a consensus three-star prospect, ranking as Nebraska's No. 3 prospect by recruiting services.
