Tyler Armstead is a cornerback from Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, where he attended Canon-McMillan High School. As a senior two-way player, he recorded 29 tackles, blocked four field goals, forced two fumbles, and intercepted a pass while adding 11 catches for 104 yards, earning second-team all-conference honors. Armstead redshirted during his true freshman season at Penn State in 2024, receiving five Developmental Squad Defensive Player of the Week awards and four special teams weekly honors.
