Lyrick Samuel is a 6'4" wide receiver from Brooklyn, NY, who attended Erasmus Hall High School under coach Daniel Landberg. As a junior, he caught 27 passes for 693 yards and 11 touchdowns while helping the Dutchmen to a 10-0 record and earning Team MVP honors. He added 22 catches for 422 yards and eight touchdowns as a sophomore on a 10-0 team and led Erasmus Hall to a 9-2 mark as a senior. Samuel was rated a four-star prospect by recruiting services, ranked No. 200 overall and No. 25 receiver nationally by national outlets, and tabbed No. 1 prospect in New York by multiple outlets. He is currently a redshirt freshman at Penn State.
