LaVar Arrington II is a 6'3", 220-pound right defensive end for Penn State, currently a sophomore. From Annapolis, MD, he attended Charter Oak High School in California, where he was named team captain and MVP as a senior while leading the Chargers to an 8-3 record. As a junior, he posted 65 tackles, 12 sacks, nine quarterback hurries and one interception. He also competed in track, breaking his school record in the 100-meter dash at 10.75 seconds. Arrington appeared in seven games on special teams during his true freshman season in 2025, earning Developmental Squad Special Teams Player of the Week honors against FIU (9/6) and Developmental Squad Defensive Player of the Week recognition following the UCLA game (10/4).
