Karon Brookins is a 6'5" wide receiver from Pennsauken, New Jersey, who played high school football at Timber Creek under head coach Brian Wright. During his prep career, Brookins recorded 46 receptions for 779 yards and nine touchdowns. As a senior, he posted 32 receptions for 575 yards and seven touchdowns while contributing eight tackles and a fumble recovery defensively. He helped lead the Chargers to a 9-1 record and a playoff appearance in 2023. Brookins was rated a three-star prospect by recruiting services, and ranked among the top 30 prospects in New Jersey. He transferred to Penn State, where he redshirted in 2025 and intends to study communications.
