Carson Hansen is a senior running back for Penn State who transferred from Iowa State. The Lakeville, Minnesota native was a three-star recruit in the 2023 class and played three seasons for the Cyclones, appearing in 38 games with 17 starts. In 2025, Hansen played in 11 games with nine starts, rushing 188 times for 952 yards and six touchdowns while averaging 5.06 yards per carry. He added 19 receptions for 134 yards and finished the season with five consecutive 100-plus-yard rushing performances, the most at Iowa State since Breece Hall's eight-game streak in 2020. His 2024 season was marked by 752 rushing yards on 151 attempts with 13 rushing touchdowns and 15 total scores.
