Caleb Bacon is a 6'4", 242-pound middle linebacker from Lake Mills, Iowa, who played college football at Iowa State before transferring to Penn State. At Iowa State, Bacon started his career as a walk-on in 2022 before earning a scholarship in 2023. He appeared in 10 games as a freshman, 13 games in 2023 with 60 tackles and 6.5 tackles for loss, and started one game in 2024 before suffering a season-ending injury in the opener. In 2025, Bacon served as team captain and started all 12 games, recording 68 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble.
