Xavier Barksdale is a 6'2", 182-pound defensive back from San Diego, California who attended Steele Canyon High School. A three-star prospect by recruiting services, Barksdale recorded 32 tackles, eight passes defended and one interception as a senior while earning All-Grossmont-Hills conference honorable mention honors. He also lettered in track, earning all-league recognition in the 110m high hurdles and 300m high hurdles. Barksdale redshirted his freshman season in 2023 and did not appear in a game in 2024. He is a returning redshirt junior for the Oregon Ducks and majors in business.
