Matayo Uiagalelei is a 6'5", 272-pound defensive end from Bellflower, California who attended St. John Bosco High School. A four-star recruit ranked 44th overall in the 2023 class, he joined Oregon and appeared in 13 games as a true freshman in 2023, recording 18 total tackles, 3.0 sacks and 2.0 tackles for loss. In 2024, his sophomore year, Uiagalelei earned All-Big Ten first-team honors from the media while leading the Big Ten with 10.5 sacks and finishing with 38 total tackles and 12.5 tackles for loss across 14 games. As a junior in 2025, he started all 15 games as Oregon reached the College Football Playoff Semifinal, posting 34 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, 6.0 sacks and generating 52 total pressures, second-most in the Big Ten.
