Jordon Davison, a running back from Santa Ana, California, attended Mater Dei High School where he was a four-star recruit ranked 172nd overall and was named the 2024 MaxPreps California High School Player of the Year. As a true freshman for Oregon in 2025, Davison played in 14 of 15 games and made one start. He rushed 112 times for 667 yards and 15 touchdowns, tying for second in the Big Ten in rushing touchdowns. Davison also caught 12 passes for 62 yards. He recorded two 100-yard rushing performances in back-to-back games against Rutgers and Wisconsin, and earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors in Week 9. A knee injury prevented him from competing in the College Football Playoff Semifinal.
