Douglas Utu, a 6'4", 335-pound right guard from Las Vegas, Nevada, attends Oregon as a redshirt freshman. At Bishop Gorman High School, he was a four-year starter playing both guard and tackle positions. In 2024, he helped the Gaels to an 11-1 record and NIAA Division I 5A state title, blocking for an offense that produced over 4,900 yards and 73 touchdowns. The team's rushing attack averaged 181.5 yards per game, with Utu contributing as lead blocker. He received an invitation to the 2025 Polynesian Bowl and chose Oregon over numerous major programs.
