Jacob Schuster is a defensive tackle from Lacey, Washington, who attended Tumwater High School before playing at Minnesota. He competed in five games over two seasons with the Golden Gophers, recording one tackle in 2022 before transferring to Oregon State. In 2024, his first season with the Beavers, Schuster appeared in 10 games and posted 17 tackles with two tackles for loss and one pass breakup. During the 2025 redshirt senior campaign, he played in nine games with seven starts, recording 14 tackles, two sacks, and two pass breakups across nine contests.
