Damarius Yates is a running back from DeKalb, Mississippi, who attended Kemper County High School. A unanimous four-star recruit in the 2026 class, Yates was ranked No. 121 in the top-300 national recruit rankings and No. 9 among running back prospects by Rivals. During his senior season, he rushed for 2,080 yards and 30 touchdowns, including a state-record 8 rushing touchdowns in a single game against Europa. In 2024, Yates accumulated 1,339 yards and 15 touchdowns across 11 games while averaging 10.2 yards per carry. He chose Ole Miss over Alabama, Ohio State, and Mississippi State.
