Carmelow Reed is a true freshman defensive end for the Ole Miss Rebels who stands 6'6" and weighs 275 pounds. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Reed played high school football at Morgan Park, where he recorded 93 tackles over his career. In his senior year, he posted 60 tackles including 14 tackles for loss, 4.1 tackles per game, and 9.0 sacks. Recruited as a consensus three-star prospect, Reed was ranked as a top-15 recruit in Illinois by multiple services and chose Ole Miss over LSU, Mississippi State, and Michigan State.
