Mario Easterly is a safety for Old Dominion who transferred from a high school background in Harrisburg, PA, where he played at Bishop McDevitt. Redshirted in 2022 before appearing in four games, Easterly has grown into a defensive contributor. In 2025, he started all 13 games and recorded 80 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, four pass breakups, one interception, and one forced fumble. He posted a career-high 13 tackles with a tackle for loss in the season opener against Indiana and recorded nine tackles in the Cure Bowl victory over South Florida.
