JJ Harrell is a 6'0", 195-pound wide receiver from Sardis, Mississippi, who attended North Panola High School. A consensus 4-star recruit, he was ranked No. 25 overall at his position by recruiting services and earned First Team All-State recognition in 2023. In his senior year, Harrell recorded 41 receptions for 987 yards and 18 touchdowns across 12 games. He redshirted during the 2024 season at Mississippi State, appearing in four games. Harrell transferred to Holmes CC for 2025, where he caught 14 passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns.
