Javen Gibson is a 6'2", 240-pound defensive lineman from Church Point, Louisiana, who spent two seasons at Mississippi Gulf Coast before joining Old Dominion. As a junior college senior, he recorded 70 tackles, 44 assists, 19 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks while earning two All-State and All-District 5-3A honors. In 2025, Gibson appeared in all 13 games at defensive end for the Monarchs, posting 24 total tackles, 3.5 sacks, and 4.5 tackles for loss. He recorded a career-high six tackles against Marshall and posted 1.5 sacks in the win at Virginia Tech.
