BJ Bedgood is a true freshman wide receiver for Old Dominion from Alexander City, Alabama. Standing 6'0" and weighing 175 pounds, Bedgood was a three-star prospect and the No. 31 ranked recruit in Alabama entering college. At Benjamin Russell High School, he earned first-team All-State honors and recorded 57 catches for 1,010 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior, followed by 52 receptions for 833 yards and 10 touchdowns during his senior season. He helped guide Benjamin Russell to a 12-2 record and a state semifinal appearance. Bedgood is majoring in sports management.
