Peyton Bowen is a safety for the Oklahoma Sooners who enrolled in January 2023 after being recruited as a five-star prospect from Guyer High School in Corinth, Texas. As a freshman in 2023, he appeared in all 13 games with two starts, recording 36 tackles, one sack, and five pass breakups. In 2024, he played in 13 games with five starts and totaled 34 tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss. During the 2025 season, Bowen started all 13 games and posted 47 tackles, two interceptions returned for 37 yards, and seven pass breakups while earning All-SEC Second Team honors. He was named Thorpe Award National Defensive Back of the Week following his performance against Missouri on 11/22.
