John Locke Jr. is a tight end for the Oklahoma Sooners who transferred from Louisiana Tech. The 6'4", 240-pound redshirt senior from San Antonio, Texas, attended O'Connor High School in Helotes, where he recorded 180 career receptions for 2,358 yards and 27 touchdowns. At Louisiana Tech, Locke appeared in all 12 games in 2023, catching two passes for four yards and one touchdown, including a 3-yard scoring reception versus New Mexico State on October 24. He played in 11 games in 2024, recording one reception for two yards against NC State. Locke enrolled at Oklahoma in January 2025 and made his lone appearance as a Sooner versus Kent State on October 4.
