Luke Tepas is a true freshman quarterback for Oklahoma State who enrolled in spring 2026 from Barrington High School in Illinois. Playing under coach Joe Sanchez, Tepas led Barrington to a 10-2 record as a senior. In his final high school season, he completed 130 of 213 pass attempts for 2,254 yards and 24 touchdowns with six interceptions, while also rushing 62 times for 313 yards and five touchdowns. As a junior, he completed 22 of 37 passes for 246 yards and three touchdowns. Tepas was not a full-time starter until his senior year and was ranked No. 22 overall in Illinois by recruiting services.
