Joseph Hanson is a 6'4", 302-pound right tackle from Niceville, Florida who transferred to Oklahoma State in 2026 after three seasons at Coastal Carolina. At Niceville High School, he was a three-year starter on the offensive line and earned 2022 second-team all-state honors along with MaxPreps Offensive Player of the Year recognition. During his 2025 junior year with the Chants, Hanson started 10 games, played 572 offensive snaps at right tackle, and received All-Sun Belt second-team honors from PFSN. He earned Pro Football Focus's third-best offensive grade on the Coastal Carolina team. As a sophomore in 2024, he appeared in all 13 games with starts in the final two contests and helped an offensive unit that led the Sun Belt with 1.2 sacks allowed per game.
