Hunter Trusler is a true freshman safety at Oklahoma State who joined the program as a walk-on in the summer of 2026. The Dalhart, Texas native played multiple sports in high school under coach Joey Read, earning district MVP honors as a senior. On offense, he completed 131 of 225 passes for 2,215 yards and 25 touchdowns while recording 182 carries for 1,202 yards and 17 touchdowns. Defensively, he accumulated 90 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and five interceptions, including two returned for scores.
