Christian Bodnar is a nickelback from Tampa, Florida who transferred to Oklahoma State after three seasons at Liberty. A redshirt in 2023, he appeared in five games as a freshman in 2024 before a rare post-infectious encephalitis condition hospitalized him mid-season. He recorded 13 tackles, including eight solo stops, along with 2.5 tackles for a loss and a 43-yard interception return against UTEP that year. Bodnar returned to play all 12 games in 2025, starting nine times and finishing with 44 tackles to rank fourth on the team. He added two sacks, two pass breakups and a quarterback hurry while earning 2025 Comeback Player of the Year honors from College Sports Communicators.
