Josh Waite is an offensive lineman from Roaring Springs, PA who transfers to Ohio as a graduate student. At Central Martinsburg High School, he earned Pennsylvania Football Writers All-State First Team honors as a senior and Second Team as a junior, along with All-Laurel Highlands Conference and All-Area First Team selections. He was chosen for the East/West Game and named an NFF Scholar Athlete. Waite redshirted in 2022 at Shippensburg before appearing in ten games with six starts in 2023, including a start at left tackle against Gannon on November 11. He started all 11 games in 2024 and earned D2 Academic All-District recognition. In 2025, Waite played in all 13 games while helping the offense average a conference-leading 227 rush yards per game and was named Academic All-District.
