Evan Herrmann is a 6'5", 245-pound defensive lineman from Sussex, Wisconsin who transferred to Ohio from Vanderbilt. A three-star recruit in the 2023 class, he was ranked No. 1 in Wisconsin and No. 56 among edge players. At Vanderbilt in 2023-24, he was part of both squads but did not appear in games. In 2025, his first season at Ohio, Herrmann played in all 13 games and recorded 15 tackles including eight solo stops and two for loss, along with one sack against Bowling Green on September 27.
