Austin Mitchell is a defensive tackle for the Ohio Bobcats. The 6'2", 274-pound native of Avon, Ohio earned four varsity letters at Avon High School, where he was a two-time SWC Lineman of the Year and team MVP his senior year. Mitchell appeared in five games during his 2024 freshman season. In 2025, he took the field in 12 games with three starts, posting 11 tackles including three solo stops and 0.5 tackles for loss. He recorded his first career interception against Ohio State on September 13. Mitchell currently holds the status of returning player as a redshirt junior.
