Riley Pettijohn is a sophomore linebacker for Ohio State who arrived as a four-star recruit ranked 42nd nationally in the 2025 class. The McKinney, Texas native appeared in 13 games during his freshman season, accumulating nine total tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, one pass deflection, and one forced fumble. He recorded one defensive touchdown on a 23-yard fumble recovery return against Grambling. Pettijohn also participated on special teams while logging 50 snaps across the season. In high school, he compiled 115 tackles and 12.0 tackles for loss as a senior.
