John Walker is a nose tackle from Kissimmee, Florida who transferred to Ohio State after three seasons at UCF. The four-star recruit appeared in 13 games as a true freshman in 2023, recording 24 tackles and 5.0 tackles for loss across 416 snaps. After redshirting in 2024 due to injury, Walker returned as a redshirt sophomore in 2025, appearing in all 12 games with 12 starts. He accumulated 40 tackles, 1.0 sacks and 3.0 tackles for loss while logging 535 snaps on the defensive line and special teams, earning Big 12 All-Academic Team honors.
