Jaylen McClain is a safety for the Ohio State Buckeyes who enrolled in January 2024 as a four-star recruit ranked 373rd nationally. During his freshman campaign in 2024, he appeared in 15 games with one start, accumulating 15 tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss, and one pass deflection across 318 snaps. In 2025, McClain started all 14 games, recording 53 total tackles—sixth on the team—plus three pass breakups while appearing in all games and playing 816 snaps. He earned Third Team All-Big Ten honors and Academic All-Big Ten recognition that season. McClain is currently a junior majoring in Sport Industry.
