Beau Atkinson is a 6'6", 258-pound right defensive end from Raleigh, NC who transferred to Ohio State from North Carolina. A four-star recruit ranked 249th nationally in the 2022 class, Atkinson appeared in 13 games as a redshirt sophomore for the Tar Heels in 2024, recording 35 tackles, 7.5 sacks, and 12.0 tackles for loss across 464 snaps. As a redshirt junior with the Buckeyes in 2025, he appeared in 13 games, accumulating 11 total tackles, 1.0 sack, 2.5 tackles for loss, and two quarterback hurries on 224 snaps.
