Matty Augustine is a 6'8", 310-pound right tackle for Notre Dame who arrived as a four-star recruit ranked 449th overall in the 2025 class. A native of Greenwich, Connecticut, Augustine attended Brunswick School, where he was a five-year member and two-year captain of the varsity football team. In his freshman season (2025), Augustine made his collegiate debut against Arkansas on September 27, then appeared in games against Syracuse and Stanford. Against Syracuse on November 22, he contributed to an Irish rushing performance that produced 329 yards and 13.7 yards per carry. At Stanford on November 29, he was part of an offensive line that allowed zero sacks while the Irish ground game exceeded 200 yards.
