Jonaz Walton is a true freshman running back for Notre Dame. The Carrollton, Georgia native attended Central High School, where he earned four-star recruit status from recruiting services, and the composite recruiting rankings. He was ranked the 11th running back overall and 119th recruit nationally by the composite recruiting rankings. Walton received 2025 Preseason All-State honors and was named 2025 Region Offensive Player of the Year. He earned All-State accolades in both 2023 and 2024, with First Team All-Region selection in 2024. Standing 5'9" and weighing 214 pounds, Walton wears jersey number 20.
