Jason Onye is a 6'5", 295-pound defensive lineman for Notre Dame, wearing No. 47. A three-star recruit from Bishop Hendricken in North Providence, Rhode Island, Onye redshirted in 2021 and made his collegiate debut in 2022. In 2025, his senior season, he appeared in all 12 games with nine starts, recording 26 tackles (14 solo, 12 assisted), 1.5 sacks, 1.5 tackles for loss, four quarterback hurries, and one pass breakup. He posted a career-high seven tackles against Syracuse and logged a sack at Pittsburgh. Onye returns for the 2026 season.
